16.07. Kätlin attended an endurance ride in Ubajärve with Kalibar - 34km with the average speed 13,92 kmph.

22.06. Tonight at 3.45am Ozariya gave birth to a big perlino colt Sirius EST by Serdarjan.

19.-27.06. Kaido visited Kazakhstan, working as a judge at the Akhal-Teke Championship "Absent".

30.04. Kaido worked as Foreign Vet at CEI 2* Dronninglund ridtet in Denmark.

15.-25.04. We were once again visiting Turkmenistan Horse Holiday. This time we also worked as veterinarians at their 60km endurance race.

2.-5.04. We attended the FEI endurance course for Treatment Vets and 3*/4* Official Vets in Jelenia Gora, Poland.

YEAR 2015

29.11. We had a great pleasure to work in Denmark at their national endurance race Kronborg Juleridt.
20.11. Today Guli-Star and Mertlik left for their new home in Holland. Congratulations to the new owner!
11.11. In October Kaido was promoted to 4* FEI Endurance Veterinarian.
20.10. Today Martina Drásalová from Czech Republic came to work with our horses for a month. Martina has taken part in the Endurance national junior championship 3 times and each time successfully finished on first, second and third place. She was also nominated for Europian junior championship of 2008 and for the last years World championship of young horses.
11.10. Today Jeanet Wolf from Holland came to visit us for a week. Jeanet stayed at us in winter 2009 for 2 months training our horses
10.10.We had a lovely visit by Piotr & Ilona Romanowski from Poland and Andrei & Marina Ptichkin from Russia.
26.09. Kalibar completed his first 59km successfully with Mirjam, with the average speed of 11,95kmph. At the same ride Markel completed successfully 18km with our grand old mare Akkol.
04.-05.09. We had a great time working at Rimboritten CEI 2* in Sweden.
23.-25.08. We had a lovely visit by Iris and Lennart from Holland.
22.08. Kalibar and Mirjam did another great 38km ride with the average speed of 14,17kmph.

01.03. We have updated our site with new pictures from 2014 of all our horses.

YEAR 2014

** We got 6 beautiful foals this year - Bilbil, Mamur, Mertlik, Mydarsak, Persiyanin-Geli and Sarsmaz. Another foal of our breeding - Jaspis (Serdarjan - Kichidjik), was born already at new home in Sweden.
** Some our horses found a new home - Ak-Sary in Austria, Awaza-jan in England and Sarsmaz in Sweden.

** In summer Kalibar attended two endurance races of 35-40km with Kim van der Kloet from Holland. And in August we were at the 20km introduction ride with Markel and Sten. Markel was riding our old mare Akkol and for Sten we borrowed a lovely Estonian horse Raal.

** In March we attended the Helsinki Horse Fair in Finland with our stallions Serdarjan and Kadjaran to introduce the Akhal-Teke breed.

** In September we attended the European Akhal-Teke Championship in Gut Ising were our horses had huge success - our 2 yo. filly Fuksiya and 1 yo. filly Gul-Oylykboth won in their classes with very high scores 8,5. Another champion was also bred by us - 2 yo. stallion Sergesdan (Serdarjan - Sayatkhanum) who was imported in-utero to Czech.

** We had lovely visits of:
--- Anne Öman and Mark Veldhuis from Sweden in January;
--- Prisse Könönen and Maria-Katariina Leinonen from Finland in July and August;
--- Sigrid Hauser-Berndt from Germany in August;
--- Tatjana Ryabova and Nadejda Abramova from VNIIK, Russia in September to grade our horses;
--- and Melinda Lonning from Norway in November.

** Also we had several foreign girls to do their horse management practice at our farm:
--- Kim van der Kloet from Holland in June and July;
--- Aniek Oosterhoff from Holland from August until November;
--- Silvia Gumbold from Germany in August;
--- and Emma Nelson from England from September until December. Emma was also here already in spring 2010.

** And in August we visited Markus Hubmann`s and Renate Lang`s horses again in Austria and Alania Stud in Slovakia.

** We also attended several courses this year:
--- in February the FEI 3* endurance veterinarian course in Graz, Austria;
--- in June the "International Conference on Equine Exercise Physiology (ICEEP) 9" in Chester, England;
--- and in November Kätlin attended the "International Sympiosum in Animal Musculoskeletal Practice (ISAMP)" in Coventry, England, with the poster presentation about muscle fiber types in Akhal-Teke horses.

** In November Kätlin also defended her PhD degree in veterinary medicine, the topic of her work was "Molecular composition of the contractile apparatus of skeletal muscle of Akhal-Teke horses - according to age, gender and genetic background".

** We were also working at several endurance competitions:
--- in March at the Springtime Ride CEI 2* in Jokioinen, Finland;
--- in May at the CEI 1* Rimboritten in Sweden and Kaido at the CEI 1* Kronborg Ride in Denmark;
-- in June Kaido was working at the CEI 1* Officersrittet in Norway;
-- in July Kätlin and Kaido were working at the CEI 3* Simlangsritten in Sweden and at the CEI 3* ride in St.Petersburg, Russia;
-- in August we were working again at the Austrian Championship in endurance (120km) near Graz;

28.-30.11. Kätlin attended the "International Sympiosum in Animal Musculoskeletal Practice (ISAMP)" in Coventry, England, with the poster presentation about muscle fiber types in Akhal-Teke horses.

16.08. We had another great endurance ride to go - a 20km introduction ride with our boys. Kätlin was riding Kalibar, Markel our old grand lady Akkol and for Sten we borrowed a great Estonian horse Raal.
14.08. We had a nice visit by Prisse Könönen and Maria-Katariina Leinonen from Finland again. They came to take Maria-Katariina`s mare Sapaly Gelingyz back home.
11.08. We had a lovely 1-week visit by Sigrid Hauser-Berndt from Germany who came with her niece Silvia Gumbold. Silvia is going to do her 1-month horse management practice at our farm.
09.08. Today at 1.30am a long-waited foal was born at our farm. It`s a lovely light buckskin colt Persiyanin-Geli out of Pamela by Serdarjan.
04.08. Aniek Oosterhoff from Holland came to us to do her 3 month horse management practice of her studies.
01.-02.08. Kätlin and Kaido were working again at the Austrian Championship in endurance (120km) near Graz. During the time in Austria we could go and see Markus Hubmann`s horses again and on our way back to Estonia, we could also visit Alania Stud in Slovakia.
30.07. Today Ak-Sary and Awaza-jan left for their new home to Austria. Congratulations to the new owners!
25.-27.07. Kätlin and Kaido were working at the CEI 3* ride in St.Petersburg, Russia.

02.07. This morning ca 9am Saryyagyz got a breathtaking black boy Mydarsak by Myrat.

14.06. Kalibar did his 1st endurance ride of this year, this time with Kim van der Kloet from Holland - 34km with the average speed of 12,74 kmph.

28.05. Kim van der Kloet from Holland came to us for 2 months to do some endurance riding with our horses.
20.05. Another foal by Serdarjan was born today, but already in Sweden - it`s a buckskin filly Jaspis out of Kichidjik.
17.05. Kaido was working at the CEI 1* Kronborg Ride in Denmark.
16.05. And the 3rd foal of this spring was born today at 11.40am - a beautiful tall buckskin filly Bilbil out of Belentgyz by Serdarjan.

05.05. And the 2nd foal was also born today at 1.45am - a big and strong buckskin colt Sarsmaz out of Kamilotta by Serdarjan.
04.05. The 1st foal of this year was born today 1.45pm. It`s a beautiful bay colt Mamur out of Fragariia by Myrat.
28.-30.03. Kätlin and Kaido worked at the Springtime Ride CEI2* in Jokioinen, Finland - Kätlin as a Foreign Vet and Kaido as Treatment Vet.

** Sadly lost two horses - Misha and Savar.

** In March Kätlin and Kaido attended the 6th European Equine Health and Nutrition Congress (EEHNC) in Ghent, Belgium.

** In May Kaido was working as a Foreign Vet at Spassk-Ryazanskii in Russia at FEI 2* endurance race and both Kätlin and Kaido worked at the 2* Nordic-Baltic Championship in endurance at Kurgjärve, Estonia.

** Two our horses - Kalibar and Serdarjan, started at their first 42km endurance races, Kalibar twice and Serdarjan once.

26.-28.11. We had Nadejda Abramova from VNIIK/MAAK (Russia) here to grade our horses.
20.09. We had a very nice visit of Max Ots from the USA with his Estonian family. Max is running Ots Sunrise Farm in Wisconsin. Max`s son Endel Ots is a successful dressage rider who was named the alternate for the US Dressage Team at the 2011 Pan Am Games. Endel Ots is running Lionshare Dressage in Florida.
07.-08.09. We had a lovely visit of the artist and graphic designer Maria Taari from Finland. Maria has a creative studio Flukso in Helsinki.
17.08. Today we participated at another endurance competition, this time with Serdarjan and Kalibar. They passed the 42km ride with the average speed of 10,39 kmph, so now they are both qualified for the next 60+km distance!
01.08. We had again a great visit of Sigrid Hauser-Berndt with her husband Uwe.
20.07. We had a great visit of Sofia, Eva and Liselott from Sweden.
29.06. Today Kalibar did his first endurance competition - 41km with the average speed of 10,55 kmph and got qualified for the next category (60km)!
27.06. And the babies are born in a row! Last but not the least of this year - a beautiful strong buckskin filly Gul-Oylyk was born today at 8.30am out of Ozariya by Gulistan!
26.06. Tonight at 11.30pm we got a chestnut colt from Rubai-Geli and Serdarjan!
08.-10.06. We had a lovely visit of Anne Öman from Sweden. Anne runs the Swedish Akhal-Teke Association.
06.06. Today Kemsiz left for his new home in Holland. Congratulations to Eva de Vries, Paard & Jij who is the new owner of Kemsiz now!
26.05. We had more visitors this week-end. This time the Russian endurance riders from St.Petersburg and Moscow came to visit us to see our Akhal-Teke horses.
25.05. And the 2nd colt of this year was born today at 3pm - another great buckskin colt Salgym by Serdarjan out of Saryyagyz.
24.05. We had a nice visit of Karin Landin from Sweden. Karin is a vet who came to work in the Vet Commission at the Nordic-Baltic Championship.
23.05. We had a lovely visit of Melinda Lonning from Norway. Melinda is a vet who came with the Norwagian endurance team to the Nordic-Baltic Championship.
24.-26.05. Kätlin and Kaido were working at the 2* Nordic-Baltic Championship in endurance at Kurgjärve, Estonia.
18.05. Tonight at 3am we got another foal by Serdarjan - this time it`s a lovely buckskin colt Soynmek out of Guli-Star.
01.-02.05. Kaido was working as a Foreign Vet at Spassk-Ryazanskii in Russia at FEI 2* endurance race.
30.04. And the 2nd filly was born tonight at 1.30am! It is a beautiful bay filly Fliki out of Fiona by Myrat.
23.04. The first foal of this year was born tonight at 2.30am. It is a lovely palomino filly

** Several our horses found a new home - Kesgin in Estonia, Bibigiz and Regina at Farma Achalteke in Czech Republic and Muar and Sadyk in Sweden.
** Unfortunately sadly lost two horses - old mare Khanbibi and the newborn colt Mes.

** We had lovely visits by:
---- Renate Lang and Markus Hubmann from Austria from the Endurance-horses-Austria in June
--- Christina Hoyle from Sweden in July

Murat and Abral are doing a part of their MSc degree at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Estonian University of Life Sciences. ** In April Kätlin and Kaido were again invited to Turkmenistan to the Turkmen Horse Holiday celebrations. During the days there we could also visit an Akhal-Teke stud farm and spend a day at the new race track to see the horses in training there.

** In March Kätlin and Kaido attended the FEI I & II level Endurance Veterinarian Course in Pecs, Hungary.

** We could work at several FEI endurance competitions - in June in Jämsä, Finland at the Nordic-Baltic Championships; in July in Uppsala, Sweden at the Uppsalaridet and in Kurtuvenai, Lithuania; and in October in Vesilahti, Finland.
** And both Kätlin and Kaido achieved 3* endurance veterinarian status!

14.12. Today Muar and Sadyk left for their new homes in Sweden. Congratulations to Christina Hoyle who is the new owner of Sadyk, and to Karin Landin who is the new owner of Muar now!
27.11. Today a new colt Chirchiq A arrived to us from Classic Performance Stud in Germany.
22.10. We had a nice visit of Edita and Josef Sluka from Czech Republic. They came to pick up their new mares Bibigiz and Regina who found a new home at their farm Farma Achalteke. Congratulations to the new owners!

22.09. This week-end we had a visit of Murat Keneshbaev and Abral Abdramanov from Kazakhstan. Murat and Abral are doing a part of their MSc degree at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Estonian University of Life Sciences. Murat is also training and riding Akhal-Teke horses at «Ахал – Теке МиД РК» - Akhal-Teke stud in Kazakhstan.

27.05. Today another foal was born at 10.30am. It is a black filly Fuksiya out of Fragariia by Myrat.

** We had the visitors from Russia, Finland, Switzerland and Germany:
---- In June Tatjana Ryabova and Nadejda Abramova from VNIIK / MAAK came to visit us and grade our horses. Serdar was said to be one of the best stallions in Sere-line today and Myrat was said to be World Championship top level stallion.
---- Geraldine Montani from Switzerland visited us with her friend Caroline in June, Sigrid Hauser-Berndt and her daughter Alice from Germany in August and Edita and Josef Sluka from Farma Achalteke, Czech Republic in September.
---- In April we visited Clara de Vos van Steenwijk at Argamak Studfarm in Holland

** In April Kätlin and Kaido were again invited to Turkmenistan to the Turkmen Horse Holiday celebrations. During the official meeting there EST-ATA was taken as an official member of IAHA (International Akhalteke Horse Association).

** We attended the following international courses and worked at the competitions:
---- In April at the 5th European Equine Health and Nutrition Congress (EEHNC) in Waregem, Belgium and in June at the FEI event veterinary course in Ypäjä, Finland
---- In July in Lapinlahti in Finland at 3* eventing competition and in October worked as endurance veterinarians at the Austrian Championship near Graz in Austria.

** Two our horses found new home - Markhamat in Switzerland and Sayathanum in Czech Republic.

** Two beautiful foals were born at our farm: black colt Mirasgul and bay filly Kamsa

** Sadly we lost the filly Kamsa and had to say good-bye to our very first Akhal-Teke horse Kuvvatli.

29.-31.07. Kätlin and Kaido were in Lapinlahti in Finland at 3* eventing competition practising the veterinary work.
14.07. Today Markhamat left for his new home in Switzerland. Congratulations to Geraldine Montani who is the new owner of Markhamat now!
20.-23.06. Tatjana Ryabova and Nadejda Abramova from VNIIK / MAAK came to visit us and grade our horses. They were very pleased with the quality of our horses. Especially good comments we got about Myrat and Serdarjan - Serdar is said to be one of the best stallions in Sere-line today and Myrat was said to be World Championship top level stallion. There were people from Estonia and Finland to attend the grading.
15.-18.06. Kätlin and Kaido attended the FEI event veterinary course in Ypäjä, Finland.
01.-05.06. Geraldine Montani from Switzerland visited us with her friend Caroline.
28.05. The 2nd foal of this year was born this morning at 8am - a bay filly Kamsa out of Kamilotta by Myrat.
20.05. The first foal of this year was born tonight at 6.30 pm. It is a beautiful black colt Mirasgul out of Guli-Star by Myrat.
20.-25.04. Kätlin and Kaido were invited to Turkmenistan to the Turkmen Horse Holiday celebrations. Kätlin was also invited to the meeting with the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov together with other presidents of national associations where EST-ATA was taken as an official member of IAHA (International Akhalteke Horse Association).
14.-17.04. Kätlin and Kaido attended the 5th European Equine Health and Nutrition Congress (EEHNC) in Waregem, Belgium. The subtitle of the congress was "Feeding the muscle" and the subjects focused on sport horse muscle physiology and feeding to avoid and treat the muscle problems. Kätlin also had a poster presentation there "Age related changes of MyHC and MyLC isoform composition in Akhal-Teke horses` skeletal muscle".
On our last day back we visited Clara de Vos van Steenwijk at Argamak Studfarm in Holland.
08.04.Kätlin attended the 4th Baltic Conference in Exercise and Sport Sciences in Tartu, Estonia with the presentation "Endurance and speed capacity of Akhal-Teke horses".
12.03. We got some great updates from the Solaris Sport Horses, the present owner of our-bred stallion Kambarbay. Kambarbay is said to make huge development in eventing training and they believe he will make easily a 3* eventing horse in future. You are welcome to see the video of Kambarbay!

YEAR 2010

The year 2010 had the following important events for us:

** We had two girls from England at us to train our horses - Emma Nelson from February until June and Katherine Lumsden from September until December.

** Jeanet Wolf from Holland and Christina Hoyle from Sweden visited us again with their friends. And also we got a visit from Katherine`s family in October.

** 3 new mares arrived from Russia - Regina and Toidjakhan from Veles Stud, Penza and Khanbibi from Tito & Natalya Pontecorvo stud Ahaltekinec in Dubna.

** We got 4 beautiful foals - Misha, Kadjaran, Sara and Ayra this spring.

** Kemput left to France to his new home at Sandrine Hugot.

** In August we were invited to Turkmenistan by Turkmen Atlary for foundation of new International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association (IAHA).

** In June we got our promotion as 2* FEI endurance veterinarians!

** In October we were invited to work at the Austrian Championship in endurance as vets.

** We visited Markus Hubmann in Austria and Petra Maresova at Achalteke Tukleky in Czech Republic.

7.12. Katherine left us for England after spending 3 months at us. We are very grateful for her training our horses and wish all the best in future!
27.-30.10 Katherine`s family came to visit Estonia.
17.-22.10 Kätlin attended the course "Reproductive Endocrinology" in Sweden.
3.10 Kemput left to France to his new home. Congratulations to Sandrine Hugot who is the new owner of Kemput now!
28.09-4.10 We had a great trip to Austria, altogether 4000km by car. We were invited to work at the Austrian Championship in endurance as vets. We were hosted by Markus Hubmann who also organized the competition and who himself owns and competes Akhal-Teke horses.
On our way back to Estonia we visited Petra Maresova at Achalteke Tukleky in Czech Republic and saw her Akhal-Teke horses there.
26.09-8.10 Emma Nelson from England visited us again.
24.09 Christina Hoyle from Sweden visited us again with her friend Helen.
04.09 Katherine Lumsden from England came to stay at us for 3 months to train our AT horses.
20.08.-04.09 Jeanet Wolf from Holland visited us here again with her friend Hilrieke.
12.-16.08. We were invited to Turkmenistan by Turkmen Atlary for foundation of new International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association (IAHA). We want to thank the organizers for invitation, we had a very pleasant time there in Ashabad!
15.06. We got our promotion as 2* FEI endurance veterinarians!
13.06. Emma left for England after spending at us 4 months. We wish her all the best and many successful rides in future!
28.05. And last foal of this year was born this morning. It`s a very elegant and pretty bay filly Ayra out of Akkol by Myrat.
15.05. Next foal was born tonight at 2.20. It`s a black bay filly Sara out of Sayathanum by Myrat.
12.05. Tonight at 1.45 we got a beautiful palomino colt Kadjaran from Bibigiz by Kuvvatli.
14.04. Firiuda foaled tonight at 3.15. It`s a big bay colt by Myrat. We named him Misha.
14.02. Emma Nelson from England has come to stay at us to train our Akhal-Teke horses. Emma is an endurance rider who has been crewing for the Young Rider endurance team in Germany and Spain and also for Senior team in Portugal. She is currently qualifying for the Young Rider championship team in England.
09.02. Three new mares arrived to us from Russia - Regina and Toidjakhan from Veles Stud, Penza and Khanbibi from Tito & Natalya Pontecorvo stud Ahaltekinec in Dubna. Regina is also pregnant by Gornostay (1099 Serasker - 2696 Gyurza) and is due in the end of March.

 

YEAR 2009

The year 2009 was on one hand pretty silent for us about horse business but on the other hand extremely busy with new challenges in equestrian sport world for us as veterinarians.

** We visited the following countries in connection to start to fulfill the criteria for FEI international endurance veterinarian official:

-----in June we attended the 2nd International Endurance Veterinary Seminar and FEI Course in Newmarket, England
-----in July we were at Kuznia Nowowiejska in Poland at CEI3* endurance competition practising the vet work
-----in September we attended the FEI I and II level Course for International Veterinarians in Warka, Poland and practised the vet work at the CEI3* endurance competition.
During the event we could also visit Jacek Kobus at Boska Wola and see their Akhal-Teke mares.
----- we also worked and practised at several endurance competitions here in Estonia as vets

Besides that Kätlin also attended an animal reproduction course for a week in June in Uppsala, Sweden.

** We had 7 guests to come to visit our horses from such countries as Finland, Sweden and Holland.

** We had 3 foreign "horse"students here to practice at our farm:
----- in February and March Jeanet Wolf from Holland
----- in April Sonja Shaikh from Finland
-----
in August Christina Hoyle from Sweden

** Three our horses who had stayed at us for a longer time, left for their new homes:
----- Krym left for Germany where he stays for a while before going to U.A.E.,
----- Kuvandyk to Finland
----- Kambarbay to Scotland to Solaris Sport Horses Stud

** We got all 3 foals successfully - 1 colt and 2 fillies, 2 foals are the first ones of Myrat, 1 filly is by Kuvvatli

** We got 4 mares pregnant for next year, 3 foals are by Myrat and 1 by Kuvvatli

** Sadly two our older mares passed away this year - Sonata at the age of 21 and Zeinab at the age of 25.

24.09. Our young stallion Kambarbay left to his new home in Scotland to Solaris Sport Horses Stud after spending two years growing at us.
10.-13.09. Kätlin and Kaido attended the FEI I and II level Course for International Veterinarians in Warka, Poland. There was also the CEI3* 160km endurance competition where the 1st place of CEI1* 80km won the partbred Akhal-Teke mare Alastar under rider Karin Dolezalova from Czech Republic.
During the event we could also visit Jacek Kobus at Boska Wola and see their Akhal-Teke mares.
17.-25.08. Christina Hoyle from Sweden/England came to visit us for a week to see our Akhal-Teke horses in their every-day life.
07.-09.08. Myrat became Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion Stallion and Kichitorgai became the Reserve Virtual Champion Mare at the 2nd International Akhal-Teke Championship "Teke Mania" held in Luxembourg!!!
01.08. Jeanet left for her home Holland after spending 1 month at us. She did a great job with training our young horses.
24.-26.07 Kätlin and Kaido were at Kuznia Nowowiejska in Poland at CEI3* endurance competition (distances 80, 120, 160km) practising the vet work.
We also met Jacek Kobus from Boska Wola who has AT horses there in Poland.
22.07. Tonight 2.40am we got our last foal of this year. It`s a tall and nice-looking colt Markhamat out of Kichidjik by Myrat.
20.07. Maris Kaldoja with her family from Estonia/Finland visited us to see our horses.
15.07. Anne and Heigo Rohtla visited us to see our AT horses. They are the best endurance riders right now here in Estonia, Heigo competing up to 160km level. He also won Nordic-Baltic Championship in endurance in 2006.
06.07. Today Jeanet Wolf from Holland came to us again for 1 month to train the young horses for riding.
02.07. Tonight at 1.25 am a long-waited filly Ozariya was born. It`s a lovely perlino foal out of Kichitorgai by Kuvvatli.
24.-28.06. Kätlin and Kaido attended the 2nd International Endurance Veterinary Seminar and FEI Course in Newmarket, England. After the seminar we could follow the official vets` work at the FEI CEI*** endurance race in Euston Park. We fulfilled the criteria of the 1st* level for FEI 4* international endurance veterinarian official.
07.06.-12.06. Kätlin attended an animal reproduction course in Uppsala, Sweden.

Prisse, Sanna and Kirsi from Finland visited us this weekend to take Prisse`s horse Kuvandyk to Finland.
10.05. Today Sonja left for her home in Finland. We wish her all success with her studies.

06.04. Today Sonja Shaikh from Finland came to our farm for 1 month practice of horse-breeding.
02.04. And the 1st foal of this year was born today at 2.30pm! It`s a beautiful tall and typey dark bay filly Astana out of Akkol by Myrat.
12.03. Today Jeanet left for her home in Holland. She did a great job handling our horses and starting our young stallion Serdarjan to ride under saddle. Looking forward to have her back in summer!
07.-08.03 Prisse, the owner of Kuvandyk, visited us this week-end.
27.02. Today Krym left for Germany where he is going to stay for some time before he goes to Dubai, U.A.E.
03.-05.02 Clara de Vos van Steenwijk from Argamak Studfarm in Holland came to visit us with Jeanet Wolf. Jeanet is staying at us until March, the 12th to do her practical studies of school about horse management.

YEAR 2008

It looks a nice new tradition among Akhal-Teke people to look back briefly to the passed year and make some conclusions. We got also really attempted in this idea and thought to give a little overview of our doings of last year as well.
We are really satisfied with the passed year and wish everybody successful doings with their Akhal-Tekes!

** We had 9 guests to come to visit our horses from such countries as Finland, Norway, Latvia and Austria.

** We ourselves visited the following countries:

-----both Kätlin and Kaido were in Finland in Monty Roberts clinic and met and visited several AT owners there;
-----in Latvia we visited a former owner of passed AT stallion Gulistan,
-----Kaido organized a drivers` course in Moscow for Russian drivers to get the European licence for horse transport;
-----and Kätlin attended the 7th Equine Embryo Transfer Symposium in Cambridge, England.

** We got all 7 foals successfully - 4 colts and 3 fillies, all by our stallion Kuvvatli

** We got 5 mares pregnant for next year, 3 foals will be the first ones of our young stallion Myrat

** Two our young horses found a new home in Norway and U.A.E.

** We started our young horses` training using Natural Horsemanship methods

** There were 3 articles published related to us: a wonderful story of Michele van Kasteren`s visit to our farm in September 2007 in Teke Mania 2008;
and 2 articles written by us in Russian Akhal-Teke Inform 2008 - "Story of Gulistan" and an ovierview of our farm.

04.07.2008 And another "surprise foal" was born at 11 am. It`s a lovely silvery buckskin filly Fiona out of Firiuda.
02.07.2008 At 0.30 am Kichidjik gave birth to a buckskin colt Kesgin.
29.06.2008 At 4 pm Fragariia surprised us with a lovely tough little bay colt Kalibar.
28.06.2008 Prisse from Finland, owner of Kuvandyk visited us this week-end.
27.06.2008 At 2 pm we got a gorgeous golden buckskin colt Kemsiz out of Kichitorgai.
13.06.2008 Today afternoon Bibigyz surprised us with another filly! It`s a big and beautiful girl called Belentgyz.

The third judge of the AT Show was Kamal Mirhojaev from Uzbekistan who runs an AT farm Akhalteke-Sher.
07.06.2007 Today in the morning at 8.30am we got a last AT foal for this year. It's a buckskin filly Kyssa out of Kichidjik and Kuvvatli.
21.05.2007 AND SHE IS BORN!!! Tonight at 1.30am Sonata foaled a beautiful black filly Guli-Star out of Gulistan!
We are extremely happy of having this unique foal!
17.05.2007 Tonight at 10.45pm Sayatkhanum got a big buckskin colt Melesar by Mikhman.
29.04.2007 And the first Akhal-Teke foal is born now, too!
It's a silvery buckskin colt Kuvandyk out of Akkol and Kuvvatli who was born tonight at 2.40am.
27.04.2007 Finally Amadeia foaled last night at 1am after carrying the baby almost a year! It's a big bay filly with long legs and playful character. We named her Louisa.
There is also some new information about her sire Louis J' pedigree.
02.03.2007 Today Kelchermek left for his new home in Sweden. Congratulations to Camilla Elfsberg who is the new owner of Kelchermek now!
24.01.2007 From February 2006 (that's when our site got the new address) till the end of last year we had got 8772 visits from 5019 unique visitors. 04.11.2006 Tonight two new mares arrived to our farm from Russia - Sayatkhanum and Zeinab.
Sayatkhanum is also pregnant from Mikhman (1228 Maksut 2 -
2794 Malka, line Fakirpelvan) and is due in May 2007.
08.09.2006 We have got the pictures of GULISTAN from his former owner Juris Astics from Latvia. You are welcome to look at them!
12.-13.08.2006 Kätlin visited Urte L. Kern and Classic Arabians Sportpferde-Championat in Germany.
14.06.2006 Today at noon we got our last foal of this year. It's a colt again, a long-legged golden dark buckskin boy Kemput out of Kichitorgai and Kuvvatli.
11.06.2006 This weekend we had visitors from Finland who came to see our Akhal-Teke horses. Prisse, Emma, Kati and Sanna - we hope you enjoyed the staying at us and liked our horses. Hope to see you again in the future!

14.04.2006 On the 5th of April the first foal of this year from Kuvvatli was born! A buckskin filly Beyonce from Bahar - though not at our farm anymore, but in Czech Republic at the new owners.
We congratulate the owners and hope that they are satisfied with the filly!

17.-21.03.2006 Kätlin had a trip to Holland and Belgium/ Luxembourg in this week-end. She attended Akhal-Teke Horse Association meeting where she met several AT breeders and owners. Now Akhal-Teke EST is also a member of the association.
Kätlin could also visit Kara Leylek Stud in Belgium and Argamak Studfarm in Holland during the time.
