Karat (line Dor Bairam) was born in 1965 in Turkmenistan. Though being from an extremely rare sireline, he was used very little as a sire during his life, to our knowledge he got only 5 offsprings in 1978-1984. At present there are only very few Akhal-Tekes of this sireline in the whole world which makes this line very valuable for the present gene pool.
In spring 2019 at our farm the very first foal by Karat`s frozen semen was born - it`s a strikingly beautiful smoky black filly Kaplenka EST out of Akargul.
As there are only few doses of Karat`s semen left, then we don`t sell it out but plan to use it on our young mares. Check back to see Karat's youngest grandchildren for sale in the future!
